Property: Sucralose is a non-nutritive sweetener. It is about 320 to 1,000 times sweeter than sucrose, three times as sweet as aspartame and twice as sweet as saccharin. Sucralose is a leading non-sugar, zero-calorie sweetener. Maintains its sweetness over a long shelf life. Is exceptionally stable during a wide variety of manufacturing processes. Works well in a broad range of food and beverage systems, including low-pH environments and in the presence of live cultures.
